Everything has conspired against me on this one, weather, the owner’s work shifts, parking issues, etc...
So she just got an exterior wash, dry, seal and dress.

I’ve always liked the DS3, especially in that bright shade of yellow I’ve seen them
in. :)

You guys get so many more nifty cars over there than we do over here...over here it’s pretty much a crossover takeover....is it the same there? More people buying crossovers?

Not really.
Ford are trying to force the Active range as a range for outdoorsy people.
The Vauxhall Insig nia Country Tourer isn’t a big seller
when you can have the Sports Tourer.
Skoda does a version of the Audi A4/A6 Allroad and the VW Golf/Passat Alltrack.
Skoda’s version of the Golf Alltrack is the Skoda Octavia Scout.
Now Skoda is doing a Superb Scout. Essentially a VW Passat Alltrack.
Top VW Passat Alltrack, Below it Skoda Superb Scout.
Most people still want small hatchbacks, estates, small and medium size 4x4s.
A lifted car is just the same car, but lifted and slightly less economical and costs more money.
Take the Skoda Octavia, base model S is £20,000.
Octavia Scout is £29,000.
Octavia vRS is £29,000.
So for £29,000 you can have a 181bhp lifted estate car or for the same money you can have a 242bhp performance estate.

S
ee....thing is, those are all still just lifted wagons to me, so still ‘cars’.
Over here it’s a see of boring CUVs like the Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Rogue, millions of Hyundai / Kia SUVs and crossovers, Ford Escapes and Ecosports, etc....the number of actual ‘cars’ is dwindling and it makes me said because at some point there won’t be a decent supply of ‘cars’ left and I am going to be forced to buy some sort of Crossover that I don’t want. :/
The only one that I actually like, really, is the Kona. I like the styling of it a fair amount, though we don’t get it with a stick shift option here....not that I am a die-hard ‘DRIV MANUEL OR DIE!!!111oneoneone’ nut, but I just personally really enjoy it.

There are some small SUVs I like.
I quite like the DS3 Crossback.

Wow, I’ve never heard of that, very cool! The only Crossovers that I like are the ones that have an attempt of any sort of styling, hence why I like the Kona...also like the Juke. The rest though are just so....vanilla...

Ye’, DS Automobiles (fancy-Citroen really) do things a little different.
DS3 Crossback.
DS4 Crossback (a bit more mundane)
DS7 Crossback. Suede/alcantara centre console.

Yup, I know of DS, I just didn’t realize they had all those crossovers in their line now...I’m just used to thinking of them as the DS3, DS4, DS5, DS6

Some companies play it safe, others say, ‘hmmm, what if we do this!’.
I don’t like the DS4, yuck.
I do like a DS5.

I like the DS3, then again, small cars are my jam, so that makes sense :)
